Citizen chosen for
cloud label printing
Citizen Systems CL-S industrial
label printers are being used
in the first-ever cloud label
design and printing solution.
The SkyLabel system from Delfi
Technologies enables users to
design and manage barcode
and label designs in the cloud.
Design requirements and printing
parameters can be controlled
from a central location, with the
end user simply pressing the
print function when ready to
print. This triggers a URL print
function, which automatically
checks the parameters, layout
and barcode before printing to
the designated local printer. As
part of a complete solution, Delfi
is supplying Citizen CL-S521,
CLS621 and CL-S700 printers.

Cloud
printer
ThinPrint has released a new
version of ThinPrint Cloud Printer,
which enables iPhone, iPad and
Android users to print documents
and photos to any printer in
their network independently of
a PC or Mac. The free cloud-
based app automatically shows
which printers are available in a
user’s Wi-Fi network and sends
the printout from the user’s
smartphone/tablet to the printer
selected. If a Wi-Fi printer isn’t
available, the user can turn
any printer into a cloud
printer and print via a PC or
Mac connected to it.
