Big SIP UC&C vendor Wildix has launched an international, end-to-end encrypted SIP service that enables partners to provision local services in 133 countries, with inclusive international landline and mobile calls to Europe, USA and China. UK Channel Manager Ian Rowan said: “More and more frequently, we see that partners who supply our solution in one country have a need to supply remote offices in destinations all over the world. This creates issues, as a partner based in the USA, for example, may not have a reseller agreement with a SIP provider in the UK. ClasSound removes this barrier and offers partners the ability to supply services from pretty much any country in the world.” www.wildix.com Wireless charging C&S Wireless has launched a range of wireless charging pads and trays in nine colours and five shapes, with a choice of two Qi charging speeds (5W and 10W). In addition to the standard designs, customers have the option to specify bespoke designs, including personalised wording, company logos and custom colours, patterns and shapes. C&S Wireless has already partnered with NOW That’s What I Call Music, the best-selling compilation brand, and England Rugby, which is developing a bespoke range of charging devices in time for the World Cup later this year. https://cswireless.co.uk/ Back-up, protection and recovery With OneXafe Solo 300, StorageCraft is providing SMEs and MSPs with cloud-based data backup, protection and recovery for an unlimited number of VMs, physical servers, desktops and laptops in single-tenant and multi- tenant environments. The plug-and-play appliance streams data directly to StorageCraft Cloud Services, giving SMBs enterprise-class protection and recovery, including the ability to virtualise their machines or entire infrastructure into the cloud for instant recovery in the event of a failure. It offers management through a single pane of glass, using StorageCraft OneSystem, and simple licensing, billing and reporting through seamless integration with the ConnectWise and Autotask business management platforms. Subscriptions start at £88/month per protected machine. www.StorageCraft.com The return of the Galaxy Fold Samsung’s first foldable device, the Galaxy Fold, receives its official launch this month, following April’s postponement. Samsung says it has overcome the design problems that caused the Infinity Flex Display to flicker and some reviewers to mistakenly remove a protective layer from the screen surface. Improvements include a stronger hinge, new protective layers beneath the display and an extension of the upper protective layer beyond the bezel, making it clear that it is part of the screen and not to be removed. Facial registration Enterprise visitor management specialist Proxyclick is launching real-time identity verification to secure corporate buildings. The ID Match cloud solution uses facial recognition technology to check visitors’ faces against the photo on their passport or driving licence. Geoffroy De Cooman, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Proxyclick, said: “Digitising the process of ID verification speeds up the check-in process, alleviates overloaded reception staff and removes potential ‘human error’ from the equation. Automating the process also frees up security personnel to focus solely on the ‘bad guys’, providing the 99% of ‘welcome’ visitors with a hassle-free check-in.” See how it works at https://vimeo.com/350301983 • www.proxyclick.com Small gains Xerox has announced a new series of compact printers for small businesses and home offices.
