Under the agreement, HPE will offer customers a jointly validated, secondary data and applications solution that combines Cohesity software with HPE servers. Available this spring, the single, integrated solution consolidates all secondary data and apps on a software- defined, web-scale platform. A recent study by Vanson Bourne found that more than one third of organisations use six or more solutions for secondary data operations, such as backups, disaster recovery, file services, object storage, test/ dev, archives and analytics.
