Crebbin takes on new channel role at Veritas Technologies Veritas Technologies, the secure multi-cloud data management company, has recruited Jonny Crebbin as its new UK&I Channel & Alliances Director. Crebbin has 25 years’ experience in the IT industry, working for vendors like EMC, NetApp, HPE and, most recently, Dell. In his new role, Crebbin will work with partners across the UK and Ireland to drive market differentiation and accelerate growth. In addition to his experience leading end-user and channel sales teams, Crebbin is a qualified NLP Master practitioner and trainer, helping people to improve their motivation, performance and public speaking. Cloud disruptor appoints new board Dootrix, a disruptive technology consultancy providing Microsoft Azure expertise to organisations such as Heathrow and, is building on a 74% rise in revenue in 2023 with the formation of a new board to drive the company’s continued growth. DISTRIBUTION Chief People Officer first for Westcon-Comstor Westcon-Comstor, the global technology provider and specialist distributor, has appointed Erna de Ruijter-Quist to its executive leadership team in the newly created role of Chief People Officer. Born and raised in the Netherlands and now living in the UK, de Ruijter-Quist joins Westcon-Comstor from Sage, where she led major organisational redesign programmes and established strategic workforce planning capabilities. Before that, she held international leadership roles at HSBC, Virgin Media, Liberty Global, Sony and GE Capital. Joining from Infinigate, where he served as Marketing Vice President, Gratton has more than 25 years’ experience in distribution and is best known as co-founder of Clarity Technology, which he helped grow into a £200m business before its acquisition by Avnet. Ambler promoted to ArtSystems supplies team ArtSystems, the specialist systems distributor and service provider, has promoted Zac Ambler to the position of Supplies Account Manager in its specialist wide format supplies team. For the last 18 months, he has worked in the Nottinghambased distributor’s sales administration team. Part of Westcoast Holdings Group, ArtSystems serves the design, manufacturing, graphics, sign and display markets with imaging and printing hardware, materials and consumables from leading manufacturers. Simon Bennett to take over from Matt Child at TD SYNNEX TD SYNNEX has announced the imminent promotion of Simon Bennett to Managing Director of Advanced Solutions, UK&I. Currently Senior Director, Enterprise Software and Cloud, UK&I, Bennett will take up his new position in December when his predecessor Matt Child assumes the role of Senior Vice President, Digital, Europe, taking over from Andy Gass, who is retiring in January 2024.
