APPOINTMENTS 01732 759725 46 ...continued Power Platform expert joins ANS as Director of Customer Enablement Manchester-based digital transformation company ANS has appointed Janet Robb as its new Director of Customer Enablement to support customers through their digital transformation journeys. She joins from Microsoft where she was a senior member of the Business Applications customer success programme and an expert in the Power Platform, a set of low-code tools for building apps, workflows, AI bots and data analytics. As Director of Customer Enablement, Robb will provide customers with guidance on digital transformation projects based on her knowledge of best practice and governance for strategy development, deployment frameworks and implementation. Transmit Security move for Kaltrina Ademi Transmit Security, a provider of customer identity and access management (CIAM) SaaS solutions, has appointed Kaltrina Ademi as Director for Channel and Alliances in EMEA. Ademi joins from PlainID, where as Head of Partnerships she led the company’s EMEA Channel Strategy for two years. Prior to that, she served as the Channel lead in Central Europe at Ping Identity. New CLO at Six Degrees Six Degrees, the integrated cloud services provider, is supporting its growth ambitions with the appointment of Caroline O’Connor as Chief Legal Officer (CLO). O’Connor joins Six Degrees from AI scaleup Tractable Ltd where, as Group General Counsel, she spanned the legal and risk framework underpinning the company’s commercial growth, international expansion and regulatory regime. Before that, she held senior leadership roles with GoCardless, Rackspace and BT. Adarma builds on investment with recruitment of James Todd as CRO Adarma, the Edinburgh-based independent specialist in detection and response services for large, complex organisations, is building on recent investment in its SOCKET Threat Management Platform and service offerings with the appointment of James Todd as Chief Technology Officer. Todd joins Adarma from KPMG, where he served as Director in the cybersecurity practice, with a specific focus on security operations and cyber defence. Prior to joining KPMG, he was the Chief Technology Officer for BT Security, playing a pivotal role in the development of BT’s strategic clientfacing cyber defence platform, including Managed Detection and Response. His appointment follows investment from Scottish Enterprise which has allowed Adarma to enhance its SOCKET Threat Management Platform and release a Managed Detection and Response service rooted in Microsoft XDR technology. It has also strengthened its Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) capabilities and introduced new Exposure Management services, including Attack Path Mapping and Attack Path Reduction. Evolve appointments mark new growth phase Evolve, a provider of IT and managed networks, has strengthened its team with a trio of new appointments as it embarks on a new growth phase, following the completion of two acquisitions in the last 12 months (GB3 and 4G Voice and Data) and a doubling of its headcount. These are Lee Simpson as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Paul Washington as Director of Strategic Partnerships and Dean Lord as Account Director. Simpson brings significant financial and M&A expertise to Evolve, having previously been CFO at UK Hire Group and before that Head of M&A at law firm Slater & Gordon, Head of M&A at DCC Technology (Exertis), Head of M&A and Programme Office at Ainscough Crane Hire and Associate Director of M&A at Tyco International. Paul Washington previously held senior roles at Cognizant, IBM, Sopra Banking Software and Atom Bank. New Account Director Dean Lord, a specialist in large scale deployments of solutions such as SDWAN, was previously Head of Connectivity at MLR Networks. Adventoris expands technical team Adventoris, the Huddersfield-based software firm, has taken on four more recruits to support the continued growth and overseas expansion of its SwiftCloud mobile sales app platform for distributors and wholesalers. Over the last five years, the company has enjoyed an annual cumulative growth rate of 81%, increasing turnover to £2m and growing its client base to over 200 businesses. The recruitment of Infrastructure Manager Khalil Ahmed Siddiqui, Implementation Manager Vlad Chreckov, Implementation Consultant Baily Storey and Business Development Executive Gala Edmunds prepares the ground for the SaaS provider’s continued growth and expansion into the US. In this pivotal role, Rayner will steer the company’s technology strategy, ensuring Appear remains at the forefront of innovation in media processing and delivery, including premium live events, remote production and distribution. Rayner brings a wealth of experience to the role, from his 13 years at Nevion and 22 years at BT. At BT, he designed the UK’s Digital Terrestrial TV network, for which he was awarded the Martlesham Gold Medal, BT’s highest accolade for technical achievement. After becoming Head of Broadcast Solutions at BT Innovate and Design, he joined Nevion, where he became Chief Technologist, receiving a technical Emmy for his JPEG 2000 standardisation work. Rayner continues to be involved in various standards bodies and is a SMPTE fellow, a Director of VSF and part of the steering board at AMWA.
