30 01732 759725 FuseGenie to unlock opportunities in software integration with super-fast no code platform Integration automation FuseGenie eliminates such problems by providing a platform that connects and integrates different applications and automates workflows between them. It already has more than 100 offthe-shelf connectors, with more being added all the time, and thanks to its no code workbench enables businesses to massively accelerate the development of new integrations for their SaaS and application portfolios. Disneur adds that by making it significantly quicker and easier to develop integrations, FuseGenie will enable software developers and the channel to exploit new market opportunities to a much greater degree than they have in the past, while boosting productivity, reducing human error and enhancing customer satisfaction. “When I first came across the platform, I ran some proof of concepts with well known, published APIs to see how easy it was to integrate X and Y to support such and such a data flow. What certain businesses would have had on their roadmap for years, we were able to do in weeks, if not days.” Use cases Disneur gives three examples of where he believes FuseGenie can make a real difference: q SaaS marketplace. “We can take your API and we can integrate it into all the different applications your customers use, 100 times faster than you can do it. In this way, we can help you build a marketplace, where customers can go and see what integrations are available. You can monetise those integrations and it's going to make your product a lot stickier because if it integrates with a customer’s accounts package, service desk package, CRM and so on, they are very unlikely to switch to something else.” w Partnerships. “Imagine a partnership between two companies that each sell products and services through tens of thousands of resellers, where Company A takes on a product from Company B. In those circumstances, you would really like there to be an integration between their systems. These companies have big teams to do this, but they do a lot and are very busy. Where does that integration sit on the roadmap? When does it become a priority? And who takes responsibility for it? FuseGenie can sit in the middle between those two, it can integrate them, can automate the workflow and take responsibility for the delivery.” e MSPs and IT providers. “On the MSP/reseller side, you often find that the integrations provided by vendors are limited and don’t cover everything an MSP might want to do. For example, they might want to take data from Salesforce and put it into their finance system and from there into a BI system and so on. FuseGenie gives MSPs the opportunity to sell its capabilities to their customers and go further in integrating their technology stack and the flow of data.” These are just some of the ways in which FuseGenie can help the channel to develop new value propositions and revenue streams. Disneur is confident that by removing the traditional drawbacks of software integration, FuseGenie can inspire a more connected, integrated future for everyone. “With FuseGenie, the idea is to become the de facto provider of integration automation within the channel. We want to help people be integration automation-first.” www.FuseGenie.com To find out more about FuseGenie and its no code software integration and automation platform, please visit Stand P5 in the Technology Live Incubator Zone. Vincent Disneur, well known in the channel for his 14 years at billing specialist Union Street Technologies, is showcasing his new venture in the Incubator Zone at Tech Live on September 12, 2013. Called FuseGenie, it brings to the UK a new software integration and automation platform, in which Disneur has invested and for which he has exclusive UK and EMEA distribution rights. The platform, developed over four years by a US-based team of integration automation experts previously employed by the likes of AWS, IBM and Accenture, addresses several inter-connected trends that are impacting businesses today: q the proliferation of SaaS and onpremises applications within businesses and the need for information to flow seamlessly between them; w the shortage of development resources, which limits the ability of software developers to create the integrations users want, even though they know having them will enhance customer ‘stickiness’ and the value of their software; e the difficulty of keeping integrations that do exist up-to-date due to multiple factors, from frequent API updates to staff churn. Disneur told Technology Reseller that he encountered all three problems to a greater or lesser degree in his time at Union Street and knows from conversations with contacts in the channel how prevalent they are throughout the industry. “There’s a simple reason for this,” he explains, “which is that integration and automation is very complicated. You need a dedicated team and resource to make it happen. You need people in product to understand what the database schema and the APIs look like. You need to document that and put it into language everyone understands before the technical teams develop it and test it. “Then, once you’ve done the integration, you often find the API changes so data doesn’t flow quite as smoothly from, say, the CRM into the billing system. What tends to happen then is that someone internally makes a fix, which works for a while until that person moves on after which nobody knows what's going on. All of a sudden you've got lots of single points of failure.” Easier integration Tech Live 2023 – Incubator Zone: First Look 23 Stand P5 incubator zone Vincent Disneur
