Currently a non-executive director for a number of technology and services organisations, Brown previously spent eight years at IT infrastructure provider Softcat as part of the leadership team that brought the organisation to its IPO and a listing on the FTSE 250. Prior to that he was General Manager of UK services for Microsoft and CEO of Computacenter Germany. Mayer was previously MD of European demo partner MCKL, which was acquired by Flex IT earlier this year. Mayer has more than 25 years of international experience in IT, including spells at HP, where he was a Senior Director of EMEA business operations, and Lenovo, where he spent over 14 years in various EMEA senior leadership positions including Managing Director, Benelux. Mayer said: “My appointment is not about changing direction, because I think we’re heading in the right direction. I want to use everything that we now have in our tool set, and then expand that tool set even further to continue to drive forward and take advantage of the change in mindset across the world about circular IT.” Janicke to lead Alteryx operations in EMEA Alteryx, the analytics automation company, has hired Jason Janicke as Senior Vice President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Based in London, Janicke will report directly to Alteryx President and Chief Revenue Officer Paula Hansen and will lead Alteryx’s business strategy, business activities and operations in the region. Janicke brings more than two decades of experience in building and leading high-performing, customer-centric teams across EMEA and the Americas as a SaaS sales veteran at some of the world’s largest enterprise technology companies, including Conga and Salesforce. Deaner brings more than 25 years’ experience to Mobius Labs having successfully grown software companies internationally. He has extensive knowledge of one of Mobius Labs’ key target markets, film and broadcast, and was previously CEO of AmberFin, spearheading the company’s journey from a start-up to a global pioneer before it was acquired by Dalet. Based in London, Deaner will report directly to Mobius CEO Appu Shaji. Clark has more than a decade’s experience developing product intelligence, including at DeepMind, where as Product Manager he was responsible for creating internal products that enabled up to a thousand people to work on the same problem simultaneously and collaboratively. After DeepMind was acquired by Google in 2014, Clark was part of the Google Health and DeepMind team that built a mobile medical assistant for NHS clinicians.
