PRINT IT RESELLER.UK 47 PRINTERS New features strengthen application possibilities Canon has extended the capabilities of its imagePRESS C850 series of cut-sheet toner presses with the addition of an automated duplex feeder for banner sheets, plus improved workflow solutions. The new POD Deck Lite XL-A1 long sheet feeder enables automated duplex feeding of 1,000 banner sheets (up to 762mm). To enhance print production efficiencies and offer a more versatile solution, Canon partner EFI has launched the embedded Fiery Digital Front End (DFE) EFI G200 and introduced additional software updates with the new external DFE EFI H300, both supporting the new long sheet feeder. The introduction of version 6.0 of Canon’s own PRISMAsync controller increases the speed of colour calibration by a factor of three by using one halftone rather than three, while fully automating colour validation tests such as Fogra and IDEAlliance. The affordable and cost-effective series consists of three models: AccurioPress 6136, AccurioPress 6136P and AccurioPress 6120. Each delivers greater productivity to enhance job capacity, reliability and flexibility enabling operations to expand their capabilities.
