Pen To Paper favourite the Staedtler elance retractable ballpoint pen is available in an attractive new style that marries a foral pattern with the pen’s distinctive streamlined shape and push button clip. The elance hibiscus (£4.95) features a purple hibiscus fower against a shimmering lacquered background in violet, silver or white and writes in indelible, lightfast, waterproof blue ink, perfect for use on cheques, documents and contracts.

Stationery manufacturers are renowned for their use of design to differentiate and add value to products so it doesn’t come as a surprise to see so many stationery products in the list of iF Design Award winners for 2011.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the offce* show is returning to Earls Court in September. Targeted at PAs, EAs and offce managers, it combines a training and development conference with a large exhibition of offce-related products and services from business-to-business suppliers. Exhibitors already signed up include Brother, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi Pencil Co., Snopake, Durable, T3L Group and Global Offce Supplies. In total, organiser Diversifed Business Communications is expecting more than 175 exhibitors.
