technology for the Galaxy Note, has
launched a new way for small and medium-
sized businesses to integrate digital
handwritten signatures into their workflows.

application as Wacom sign I pro PDF comes
with an integrated PDF printer that allows users
to convert their office documents into Acrobat
PDFs.When capturing the signature, biometric
data is recorded and the signed PDF protected
by a digital certificate, ensuring no further
changes can be made.

Powermat now available
from Ingram Micro
Ingram Micro EMEA has added Powermat
wireless chargers to the growing line of
mobile products handled by its recently
launched telecommunications division.
Powermat chargers use wireless induction
charging to power personal electronic devices
such as smartphones, Bluetooth headsets and
gaming consoles placed on the charging mat.
The user needs to enable an electronic device
just once using a Powermat receiver, after which
all he has to do to recharge a device is place
it on the mat. Because the Powermat system
recognises the device, it will recharge it for
exactly the right length of time before shutting
down to save energy.

Folder-inserter for faster
mailings
Complete mailing jobs faster and more
cheaply with the Neopost DS-35 folder
inserter. Capable of folding, inserting and
sealing up to 1,350 items of mail per hour,
the compact desktop machine is 13 times
faster than manual processes.
Just load documents and envelopes into the
machine; set up the job using a step-by-step
wizard on the colour touch-screen display; and
press start. The DS-35 handles a wide range
of documents, envelopes, inserts and business
reply envelopes and offers a choice of four fold
types.
It comes with a number of useful features
to maximise productivity. These include a
programmable job memory that can store the
settings for up to 15 regular mail runs such
as payroll, statements and invoices; and an
automatic cascade feed function that lets you
load new documents while others are being
processed.
Double-feed detection prevents two sheets
being fed at the same time, ensuring that
the right documents are inserted into each
envelope. In addition, there is a manual feed
function that allows the user to hand feed up to
five sheets, stapled or unstapled.
The DS-35 can be used on its own or
connected to a Neopost franking machine in a

the University of Oxford’s Environmental

automatic energy meters a detailed picture
of their energy use, expenditure and carbon

per year. A free 30-day trial is available at
