Trusted Advisors MSPs and resellers have mostly done well over the last 18 months, benefiting from and reinforcing their position as trusted advisors as customers have accelerated their digital transformation to cope with the challenges of maintaining operations under difficult circumstances. In a survey of 750 UK business leaders by Studio Graphene, 56% said their firms have successfully adopted one or more new technologies since March 2020, with 54% saying the pandemic has inspired long-term digital transformation projects within their organisation. MSPs in particular have played an important role in helping organisations pivot to a cloud-based, hybrid working model. Research by Ensono shows that almost half (43%) of IT leaders considering or already managing a multi- cloud environment have turned to an MSP to help mitigate concerns around security, governance and cost optimisation. Of these, 46% say they did so because MSPs offer a faster adoption time, with 44% doing so because it has enabled them to tap into skills they lack internally. These constraints on businesses are not magically going to disappear.
