01732 759725 18 NEWS : VENDORS Security solutions provider Barracuda Networks has expanded its offering for IT managed service providers and announced significant changes to its cloud-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform. To help MSPs protect customers’ apps and data and control access from corporate or personal devices, it has launched an MSP version of its Zero Trust Network Access solution, Barracuda CloudGen Access, introduced in November 2020, following Barracuda’s acquisition of Fyde. Barracuda CloudGen Access for MSPs adds multi-tenant management and monthly pricing capabilities that make it easier for MSPs to deploy and manage the solution. Changes to the RMM platform Barracuda acquired in 2019 include a change of name from Managed Workplace to Barracuda RMM and the addition of several new features. These include integration with Barracuda Intronis Backup, enabling MSPs to deploy, monitor and manage their Intronis Backup from within Barracuda RMM; improved Microsoft patch management capabilities; and enhancements to the Central Dashboard. In addition, Barracuda has launched a Barracuda RMM migration service through which it can set up and configure the RMM according to each MSP’s needs. Brian Babineau, Senior Vice President and General Manager, MSP Solutions, describes the introduction of Barracuda CloudGen Access and enhancements to Barracuda RMM as ‘necessary next steps’ in the company’s commitment to support MSPs on their security-centric journey. He said: “By enabling MSPs to adopt a security-centric operational model, we are helping them to better mitigate the security risks associated with the work- from-anywhere approach and creating new business opportunities for them to deliver more flexible, secure access to valuable data and streamline data protection operations.” barracuda.com Barracuda expands MSP offering to mitigate work-from-anywhere risks Konftel recognises Exertis UK with Best Partner award Exertis was among the winners when Climate Neutral-certified conferencing and collaboration specialist Konftel handed out its annual Best Partner and Largest Growth awards to its top performing distribution partners across the world.
