Fred Voccola, CEO of Kaseya said: “In a more complex world of mission-critical applications and data, and an exploding diversity of devices and services, MSPs and internal IT teams have been forced to adopt multiple products, increase staff and create their own solutions to address the countless challenges they face. This approach has led to higher costs, lower efficiency and a lack of understanding on how to effectively manage budgets and work. The answer to this problem is a single-sourced, complete, innovative and scalable RMM solution.” Kaseya VSA gives customers universal device and service management; an automated, intuitive interface bolstered by a crowdsourced community of automation engineers through the Kaseya Automation Exchange; and extensive integration and support. https://www.kaseya.com/products/vsa Kaseya enhances RMM software with unified management HP recommends UV-C cleaning Hewlett-Packard is recommending Uvisan UV-C light disinfecting cabinets as the only fully safe and effective way of cleaning its delicate VR headsets and head-mounted displays. The UV-C cabinets fitted with medical grade lamps can thoroughly disinfect electronic devices, including phones, laptops, tablets and headsets, with a five-minute cleaning cycle that kills 99.99% of bacteria and viruses. HP warns that other cleaning procedures, such as the use of alcohol or disinfectant wipes, can damage sensitive optical lenses and sensors through the chemicals used and the wiping action itself. The lockable, mobile cabinets allow simultaneous disinfection and electrical charging of up to 36 VR headsets or 70 tablets, with no need for any liquids or chemicals and no waste. www.uvisan.com Basalt invests in Full Fibre roll-out Wholesale fibre network provider Full Fibre Limited has announced a financing deal with specialist infrastructure investment fund Basalt Infrastructure Partners LLP that will enable the company to spread its wholesale fibre- only infrastructure to at least 500,000 additional premises by 2025. The business will continue its focus on ‘forgotten’ market towns and areas in the West Midlands, Central and South West that might otherwise have been left behind in the national FTTP rollout. The deal gives Basalt a majority interest in Full Fibre and will provide capital investment to expand Full Fibre’s gigabit fibre optic network from 100,000 premises in 2021 to at least 500,000 by 2025. As a wholesale-only network operator, Full Fibre works with retail broadband providers to deliver gigabit connectivity, rather than selling services directly to consumers. Full Fibre CEO Oliver Helm said: “Full Fibre’s mission has always been to deliver pure fibre, wholesale-only networks to underserved market towns. We are delighted to work with Basalt to accelerate this rollout, fuelled further by the strengthening of our management team.” Swish Fibre works with Trenches Law to smooth wayleave process Alternative network provider (altnet) Swish Fibre has partnered with telecoms specialist Trenches Law to augment its wayleave knowledge ahead of an ambitious growth programme that will see the 60-headcount company grow 10- fold over the next 18 months Swish Fibre aims to bring its 10Gbps full fibre broadband network to more than 250,000 properties across the Home Counties over the next five years. It has started its roll-out in Marlow and plans to extend it to at least nine additional locations within a commutable distance of London by June 2021. Swish Fibre’s Nick Bratt chose to partner with wayleave specialist Trenches Law to ensure the company’s roll-out is not delayed by the complex wayleave process. He said: “We’re an entirely new company with big plans and needed some real expert advice on how to structure our processes, the likely issues we’d face and where to go when we get stuck. For such expertise, there really was no question that we’d go anywhere other than Trenches Law, as their knowledge within this niche area is vast.” Trenches Law co-founder Sharon McDermott added: “Our work with Swish Fibre is all about intense knowledge transfer, so we can empower the team to manage the wayleave process effectively, compliantly and with a keen eye on the commercials too. We don’t want anything to slow them down.” Profits up at Agilitas Global channel services provider Agilitas IT Solutions has announced a 21.8% year-on-year increase in EBITDA profits to £3.8 million, as a result of consistent growth, international expansion, increased supply chain automation and six new service propositions.
