The company co-founded by Managing Director Mark Hall in 1995 was originally named The Big Oxford Computer Company Ltd (BOCC) but changed its name to Oxford Web Applications (OWA) in 2012. It is now changing its name again, to OWA Digital, to reflect the changing needs of customers in an age of digital transformation and the company’s greater geographical reach. OWA Digital opened a London office last year and plans to establish additional regional hubs in the future. OWA provides a complete range of digital services, from the design and development of code to drive web applications, mobile apps and websites, through to data security, support, hosting and proactive 24/7 management of client digital services. Mark Hall said: “Our strategy is to offer a ‘lifetime’ solution to customers. We always look at the data and digital needs of the organisation as a whole and ensure that any new development is integrated across all functions. This avoids security issues, such as data breaches and server capacity challenges, and enables technical, marketing and sales teams to be part of any new digital tool, which may change the way audiences interact with new products or services. The lines continue to merge between technical and marketing communication functions, and customers require digital businesses like OWA to address these issues from the start.” Dark web monitor Spanning Cloud Apps, a Kaseya company and provider of backup and recovery for SaaS applications, has announced a Dark Web Monitoring solution for Microsoft Office 365.
