Before joining Ultima, Ashmore was Global Finance Director Film and TV VFX Segment at Technicolor. She has also held senior finance positions at BT, Merlin Entertainments and Unilever. The recently created unit provides Westcon’s Cybersecurity business with dedicated resources that will allow it to take advantage of new opportunities offered by ‘born-in-the-cloud’ vendors and partners. Currently a venture partner at Octopus Ventures, Bell has scaled a number of market-leading digital brands: he was a founder member of PayPal Europe, growing it to £200m in revenue; a member of the leadership team that enabled UK cybersecurity venture Content Technologies to achieve a £650m exit; and part of the leadership team that achieved a £100m exit at JustGiving. Bell said: “I rarely see an early-stage tech business with such a relevant, unique and targeted technology solution as Panintelligence. From a really impressive platform of triple-digit growth in just a few years, we have a very ambitious plan for expansion in global markets, particularly the US.” Nycomm expands Yealink team The Yealink business unit at Nycomm has been strengthened with the appointment of Samantha Kay as Business Development Manager for Videoconferencing. In this role, Kay will help resellers take advantage of Yealink’s advanced VC solutions, such as the MVC portfolio of video conferencing hardware featuring Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams compatibility. Sanfridsson joins Colt DCS Colt Data Centre Services (DCS) has appointed Niclas Sanfridsson as its new Chief Executive Officer, following the retirement of his predecessor Detlef Spang who led the business from its inception as an operationally independent Colt business in 2015. Sanfridsson has more than 20 years’ experience running data centre businesses, including spells as CEO of Pulsant, Managing Director of Equinix in the Nordic region and Managing Director of Telecity in Sweden. Following a restructuring of the business, she will now manage both teams. He previously worked as a Product Specialist at Tesla. New UK CEO for Konica Minolta To help drive its transformation into a digital IT services company, Konica Minolta has appointed Rob Ferris as CEO of Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd. He will take up the role in May 2020. Prior to joining Konica Minolta, Ferris was part of the Executive Leadership Team at Canon UK & Ireland, where he held a number of leaderships roles in his 19 years with the company. New head for Unit4 partner ecosystem Unit4, a provider of enterprise application software for people- centered organisations, has made Beata Wright EVP/Global Head of Partner Ecosystems and a member of the Global Leadership Team. Working alongside Unit4’s regional teams, Wright will be responsible for defining and managing the strategic direction of all elements of the global partner program, from solution identification, development and go-to-market plans to sales engagement, marketing and competitive positioning. She was previously Head of International Alliances at Ultimate Software.
