The speed at which the technologies are changing and where the journey is going. To the cloud or back to on-premise? All in a browser app or all mobile? Where do you see the next big opportunity? How millennials are going to use communication in a corporate environment. What would make your day job easier? Having an extra 2 hours per day would certainly help. What’s the best bit of business advice you’ve been given? Try it and only then will you know if it will work. If not, then try again. If you had had a crystal ball, would you have done anything differently? No, I certainly believe in needing to go through some wrong doors to find the right ones. Describe your most embarrassing moment. Wow, there are way too many. I’d better keep them to myself! What was your first job? The first money I earned was from serving tables in a restaurant. I actually enjoyed it more than being in school... What would be your dream job? I think I have what I was looking for. IT, computers and networks always fascinated me and the moment of success when a “PING” comes back is priceless. Fine dining and good wine, or curry and a pint? Curry and a pint, with good company. But please make it a mild one; I don’t like spicy food. Favourite holiday destination? I like water and I like snow. So, whichever is easier to get to. Nine hours’ travelling at the outset is just not an ideal holiday for me. How do you like to spend your spare time? With my family and friends. But I also sometimes just like to be idle... Money’s not an issue, what’s your perfect car… and where would you drive it? I think an Aston Martin along the Transfagarasan in Romania would be an appealing combination. Or just a BMC - Mini Moke and the drive to work.
