A study from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) found that two fifths of workers check email outside office hours at least five times a day. Speakap users can turn on the ‘Do Not Disturb’ feature from a desktop computer/ laptop or iOS/Android app and schedule start and end times in advance to prevent unwanted interruptions during important events and holidays. When the feature is turned on, a red badge will appear next to the user’s profile image to indicate to other Speakap users that they are in ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode and may not immediately read/respond to messages, company updates, comments etc.. Speakap’s open API for integrating other software packages means that businesses can extend the ‘Do Not Disturb’ functionality to HR, CRM, payroll and other applications. The ‘Do Not Disturb’ feature is available to all 350+ Speakap customers in the retail, hospitality, catering, entertainment, logistics and manufacturing industries, including McDonald’s, IKEA, Hudson’s Bay and Rituals. www.speakap.com Cofense fishing for managed service providers Cyber security company Cofense is partnering with service providers across the globe to help protect small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from human-driven phishing attacks. Enable BPM provides powerful and comprehensive workflow for re-engineering business processes – replacing complex repetitive tasks such as Invoice Matching with AI-driven, server-based automation and providing streamlined interfaces for humans to handle the exceptions. Enable is a tool for transforming business processes for maximum efficiency and value. But no matter how much process transformation is achieved, there will still be gaps between processes, for example re-keying information from one application to another, logging into customer or supplier portals to gather information, or updating from Excel spreadsheets.
