Cutting costs with Epson
Epson has entered the
world of print management
software with Epson Print
Admin, a server-based
remote management
solution that allows SMEs
and large enterprises
to take control of their
printing and scanning
and strengthen document
security with user authentication and secure pull printing.
Businesses can cut print costs using the software’s
built-in cost-saving rules, in-depth reporting and ability to
allocate billing codes for recharging. Epson Print Admin
can also improve productivity through personalised user
interfaces and one-touch scan workflows. The solution
is free for up to two devices, with additional licences
available for one, five, 20 or 50 devices.

white toner printer and then
applied to the body of the
Telecaster using a traditional
swing head heat press before
being finished with six layers
of clear resin varnish to match
the guitar’s factory finish.
RST9.1 transfer paper enables
full colour imaging onto rough
substrates like untreated
wood, slate, cork, ceramics,
plastics and MDF.

Canon has launched a professional version of its
CaptureOnTouch scanning software for the company’s
imageFORMULA range of document scanners. The
CaptureOnTouch Pro platform simplifies document
capture through intuitive shortcuts that enable scanning
at the touch of a button and the conversion of scans
into multiple file formats including searchable and
editable PDF, compact PDF/A, multi-page TIFF and
PowerPoint.

Strength in width
OKI has added a new model to its ColorPainter line of
wide format printers. Suitable for indoor and outdoor
applications, the ColorPainter E-64s uses OKI’s high-
pigment ECO solvent SX inks and can print onto a
wide range of substrates including textiles, wallpaper,
canvas, hard PVC, banners and vinyl. Other models in
the ColorPainter
range include
the M-64s and
the H3-104s.
