01732 759725 38 BUSINESS BRIEFING ECS’s Chris Fink on Providing Value through Remanufacturing our Premium Remanufactured Toners, as well as adding value to our service in other ways. PITR: How are quality, performance, reliability and consistency guaranteed? CF: ECS’s manufacturing department boasts decades of combined industry experience and implement the most modern remanufacturing techniques alongside stringent quality control and testing stations that have been approved by one of our Technical Directors, ensuring each product complies with industry benchmarks (ETIRA) as well as environmental legislation including REACH, COSHH and RohS. Our Premium Remanufactured Toners are produced in our UK-based ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified state-of-the-art remanufacturing plant, where they also pass through multiple quality control stages during production, being analysed for the following test indicators and machine environment settings: Product performance (yield, print analysis, stability of wearable components), configuration (multiple device emulations, architecture variables, network configurations), print job criteria (paper stock, size, weight, simplex/ duplex, coverage, energy & resource modes) and environment (room and machine operating temperatures). PITR: In addition to your remanufacturing process, how else do you add value? CF: With stock shortages continuing to plague the industry since the outbreak of covid, ensuring that our Partners never have to worry about being able to get hold of stock is one of our number one priorities and ways our service adds value. We hold stock on all major manufacturer branded consumables and have one of the largest ranges of toner cartridges and components available in the UK, all of which is available to our UK Partners for next day delivery as well as direct-to-customer. ECS are the preferred provider for distributors, remanufacturers and office equipment suppliers throughout the world. The UK remanufacturer and recycler’s approach has always been to provide remanufactured products which provide the highest value for their partners through a number of key principals and guarantees in order to meet an array of demands and expectations. ECS’s Director, Chris Fink, joined us once again to discuss exactly how his company’s remanufactured products live up to these expectations while navigating the current market. PITR: How does the current economic state affect your market strategy? CF: Succeeding in the market in its’ current state isn’t easy, but it’s important to remember that every single organisation in the world is experiencing similar obstacles. It’s how we navigate these obstacles that enables ECS to stand out and exceed consumer expectations during these difficult times. Surging costs, limited product availability, part shortages and a potential recession on the horizon mean that the majority of organisations within our industry are looking for one thing and one thing only – value. PITR: How do ECS ensure that they’re providing the best value for their partners? CF: Manoeuvring around of each of these obstacles while trying to provide the best products for our Partners is certainly a challenge in itself, but our strategy has always been successful despite external factors, because we treat value as something that is subjective. As such, we provide products that meet our Partners expectations in terms of quality, performance, reliability and consistency while providing a price that is fair and competitive. As value can be interpreted differently, we aim to cover all bases with +44 (0)1427 337 355 www.ecs-uk-ltd.co.uk The Largest Remanufacturer In The UK A Fully Compliant Service For Your WEEE Waste www.greener-side.co.uk Chris Fink
