01732 759725 18 WORKPLACE Audrey Agahan, Director of Marketing at EveryonePrint picks the tools she uses every day and couldn’t do her job without I couldn’t do my job without... constantly updating our Trello board with project statuses, so I can just jump into the tool at any time and get a bird's-eye view of everything going on. This helps me understand our true progress, where people are blocked and where I can help. This saves time from team members having to write a status report and since any related documents are always linked or attached to the project ‘cards’ it's extremely easy for me to check out the output of a project. 3 Workboard Workboard is an OKR (objectives and key results) tool that our company recently implemented. I'm a firm believer in the benefits of the OKR framework, but before Workboard, we were using spreadsheets to track our OKRs and it was so painful, especially because it was difficult to directly see how the progress of our team and individual OKRs directly affected the overall company OKRs. Now that we are using Workboard, it's so easy to update our OKRs on a weekly basis. The tool also has some additional features like an OKR Canvas (workshop on building OKRs), Biz Review (to create graphically pleasing OKR reports), Meetings (integrates with Outlook), and Workstreams (to tie activities and project progress). 4 Hubspot Earlier this year we unified our CRM, CMS and marketing automation into a single tool, HubSpot. Previously we were using Zoho for CRM, WordPress for our website, HubSpot for our marketing automation and Zapier to try and integrate the 1 Microsoft Teams Since I work fully remote and manage a fully distributed marketing team (based in Denmark, Finland, France and Ukraine) Microsoft Teams is like our virtual office. It's where we pretty much do everything: video conferencing meetings, calls, team chat group, individual chats, and file sharing. It's amazing that just three years ago, I was working full-time in an office and doing most of these things in person. I never imagined I would be able to run an entire marketing department from around the world. And the icing on the cake is I can work from any location – which is especially desirable for people like me who live in the Nordics and want to escape the cold, dark winters. 2 Trello Another important collaboration and planning tool that I use with my marketing team is Trello. We work in a monthly sprint model where we plan and prioritise our work monthly. My team is various tools. Before the migration to HubSpot, all our data was disjointed. After the HubSpot migration, we have better visibility, tracking and reporting for inbound lead gen, which means better data insights for decision-making and planning. We also automated a lot of manual work like lead handling. We now have a clear process and easy reporting for qualifying leads so marketing can understand our lead quality and real impact. And we can easily create new website pages on the fly without a website developer. 5 Grammarly Grammarly helps you write mistake-free in your email tool, social media, word docs, text messages and any other app you use. You can use the desktop app or add a plug-in to your Chrome browser, it's so convenient. English is my native language and I'm an avid writer, yet I still rely on Grammarly to catch any mistakes and improve the quality of my writing. The Grammarly AI is so powerful that it not only corrects your grammatical mistakes but also makes your writing more understandable and helps you make the right impression on the reader based on your audience and goals. Grammarly is especially valuable to the rest of my marketing team who doesn't have English as their first language, but work in an English-speaking company. www.everyoneprint.com Audrey Agahan
