This senior promotion demonstrates its continued investment in the channel as it looks to accelerate the company to its next level of growth and support partners and customers in their journey to hybrid multicloud. In this role, Tarbox will lead all routes to market, spearheading channel activities in all the European countries, Middle East and Africa region and will draw upon his extensive industry experience to play a strategic role in supporting Nutanix’s expansion in EMEA. Assuming overall responsibility for the firm’s goto-market strategies with resellers, distributors, OEM platform partners, system integrators and technology partners in the EMEA region, he will be key in driving the continued growth and success of the company’s channel and alliance ecosystem. www.nutanix.com Tech Data pushes sustainability Tech Data is pushing forward with its net zero carbon commitments, announcing Kevin Wragg as Director, Environment and Quality Compliance. In this newly-created role Wragg, an experienced member of Tech Data’s senior leadership team, will drive forward the company’s plans to minimise its environmental impact. Wragg will be working with all areas of the business on actions and initiatives aimed at taking Tech Data towards the attainment of its goals. The distie is already working with a net zero carbon consultancy named Arete Zero Carbon, which is led by Dr Stephen Finnegan to understand its current carbon footprint, and putting plans in place to accelerate towards the achievement of net zero carbon. In addition to the sustainability and environment agenda, Wragg will be working with teams across Tech Data to apply ISO standardisation of practices and processes. While Tech Data already has ISO9001 in place at its logistics centre in Magna Park, it is now planning to implement these standards throughout the UK business and to also apply the ISO14001 standard for Environmental Management Systems. He will also take on responsibility for ensuring that Tech Data meets all of the necessary regulatory requirements for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment recycling (WEEE) and disposes of electrical and electronic equipment ethically and efficiently. www.techdata.com Circular Computing to fast track growth Circular Computing has appointed a new Head of UK Sales, Luke Doneghan, to accelerate UK sales operations and support its channel partner growth. In his new role, Doneghan, previously Head of Channel and Sales Operations at Dynabook Europe, will be responsible for leading all aspects of the sales process benefiting investors, channel partners and end customers. His appointment marks a new era of growth for sustainable IT in the channel, amidst mounting pressures from governments and world organisations to meet ambitious net zero targets. Richard Wells – previously responsible for sales across Epson’s whole business portfolio – now leads a division dedicated to managed print services for business inkjet. Senior management includes Channel Manager Nick Taylor, who runs a team of channel-centric Account Managers working directly with the channel to secure end-user sales for and with them.
