01732 759725 EXHIBITION 20 The Print Show will mark its fifth anniversary in style this year by playing host to some of the most well-known names from the world of show business – all in the name of promoting print Landmark fifth edition of The Print Show aims to inspire (Xerox), Renz, Intec Printing Solutions and Premier Paper Group. HP was one of the first manufacturers to sign up to exhibit as it seeks to build on its success at the past two events. Olivia Kelleher, Product Category Manager for HP Latex large-format- production at the Graphic Solutions Business UK and Ireland, said the firm will display a selection of machinery at the show as it aims to demonstrate how it can help visitors across various markets. “HP has always recognised the value of being able to interact directly with customers to showcase our innovative large format technologies, so following a successful Print Show in 2018 we signed up to return,” she said. “Our key aim is to demonstrate the best of our technology and applications and facilitate a forum where our customers can come and talk to us about their needs and how we can work together to inspire creativity and deliver unlimited possibilities.” Kelleher also hints that HP could use the show to launch a new product in the UK, but is keeping details of this under wraps for the time being. “HP’s large-format printing business covers a broad segment of industry from architecture, engineering, construction and manufacturing with technical large format output,” she said. “HP will continue to invent and innovate to transform current markets and yes, we may have a first in the UK at The Print Show. We will ensure all our customer segments are covered in terms of large- format print technology.” Xeretec returns Last year, Xeretec, Xerox’s largest partner in Europe generated a lot of interest in the Iridesse, which had only been launched in May prior to the show. This year, the company will feature the Iridesse alongside both the V180 and V3100 models from the Versant range. Speaking about the company’s return, Marketing Manager Rhiannon Phelan says that given both the size and the scope of The Print Show, Xeretec considers it a ‘must attend’ event for any company selling print. “2019 represents Xeretec’s fourth year at The Print Show,” Phelan said, adding: “Each year, we have upped our investment and last year we had our biggest stand to date and our most successful show in terms of ROI. “We always work to bring something new to the show – whether it’s a product or a theme – to ensure that visitors to our booth get real value from coming to see us. The show has consistently proved to be a great platform for us to demonstrate our offering – from products, to production print knowledge and experience – to our target audience at a well organised and well attended show.” In terms of Xeretec’s main aims at The Print Show, Phelan said the company is looking to build on the success it enjoyed last year and drive more potential leads, as well as meet new prospects and catch up with existing clients to discuss their current and future print needs. She adds: “We also want to show attendees the latest Xerox technology and how, when coupled with Xeretec’s expertise and consultative approach, it drives the best results for print performance and their business.” www.theprintshow.com The Print Show 2019 which will take place from September 17 to 19 in Hall 9 of the NEC in Birmingham, will give visitors and exhibitors an opportunity to meet explorer and adventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE, boxing legend Chris Eubank and Masterchef star Gregg Wallace.
