01732 759725 14 BULLETIN : PEOPLE DMSL looks north for growth Ruth Hickman has joined DMSL from BT in the newly-created post of Channel Account Manager for the northern region. She will provide hands-on support to resellers throughout the region and nationwide. In particular, she will focus on recruiting managed services partners who need to meet the exploding data requirements of their customers. Hickman worked at BT for more than two decades, the last eight of which were spent in the role of Channel Manager for BT Business, providing sales, marketing and operational support for sales teams. Commenting on her appointment, she said: “This is a good time to be joining a business with such a positive and can-do attitude. The demand for data on both fixed line and mobile services is growing at a phenomenal pace and that potential is certainly not confined to the south of Britain. The resurgence of business in the north is plain to see. He will report to Richard Hinds, Exertis, Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for managing change and delivery of key strategic and infrastructure projects as the business continues along its transformation path to meet the growing and evolving needs of a rapidly expanding organisation. Ingleby has worked in a variety of industry sectors, from insurance and engineering to plant hire, construction and management consultants, in change management and business transformation roles, most recently at Assurant and previously at British Engineering Services. In addition, Al Coyne who has successfully managed the Norfolk specialist print team will now assume responsibility for the entire division. Baker has been with Midwich since 2002 and has played an invaluable role working within the UK Management Team and was instrumental in the development of the AV business. He retired at the end of December to pursue other activities outside of the group. Harris is now Divisional Director focusing on AV (Midwich Ltd) and Floyd has assumed a wider role as Divisional Director covering AV, Document Solutions and further technologies. During this time, he also played an active and supportive role as Treasurer for the BOSS Federation and has always been committed to its continued success.
