01732 759725 WHAT’S NEW 34 Productivity and creativity in the workplace Designed for medium and large workgroups, two new customisable Xerox VersaLink C8000 and C9000 A3 colour printers produce professional colour quality, backed by benchmark reliability at an affordable total cost of ownership. In addition, the C9000 is equipped with precision colour management tools, greater media flexibility and added productivity. The exclusive 5-inch, tilt-capable, colour user interface responds to taps, swipes and pinches, much like mobile devices, and can be personalised for different work environments or individual users. Further personalisation is provided by Xerox ConnectKey apps, available from the Xerox App Gallery. These apps provide one- touch, easy access to cloud services such as Dropbox, Google Drive and Box; and with @PrintByXerox, any email-enabled device can print a job while on the go. The C9000 also handles heavier stocks for greater media flexibility in developing applications such as brochures, proposals, posters, direct-mail pieces and signage. To automate the final output, optional finishing, available on both devices, offer saddle-stitch, crease, and booklet making. www.xerox.com Toshiba boosts colour MFP line-up The latest additions to Toshiba’s colour range include four multifunction products – the e-STUDIO338CS, e-STUDIO388CS, e-STUDIO389CS and the e-STUDIO479CS, and the single- function e-STUDIO388CP printer. The campaign, which closes on 31 March 2019, marks 30 years of Brother’s labelling solutions. The promotion includes handheld and desktop printers, all of which come with a host of fonts, print sizes, symbols and frames for clear, informative labelling. A range of promotional materials are available to dealers from BrotherZone to highlight the promotion and help maximise sales, primarily targeting office staff, PAs and facilities managers, as well as some home users. www.brother.co.uk Canon launches imagePROGRAF Series Canon has launched the new imagePROGRAF Series of large format inkjet printers. Built on the technology of the large format imagePROGRAF TX Series, the new printers address the needs of customers in the corporate, construction and engineering, retail, education and government sectors, enabling them to produce high quality drawings, maps and posters on demand, in-house. The new series features eight different models, all aimed at customers printing low- to mid-volumes. The five 36-inch models are: TM-300; TM-305 (with built-in HDD and PDF support); TM-300MFP L36ei (multifunctional printer with low-volume scanning solution); TM-300MFP T36 (multifunctional printer with higher scanning solution); TM-305MFP T36 (high performance multifunctional printer). The three 24-inch models are: TM-200; TM- 205 (with built-in HDD and PDF support); TM-200MFP L24ei (multifunctional printer with low-volume scanning solution). Without compromising on high productivity, Canon has made enhancements to some primary noise sources; the platen suction fan now includes a damping structure; the media cutter cuts cleaner which reduces vibrations; the media feeding technology has been developed with the line-feeding motor being slowed and motor pulley diameter being enlarged to also reduce media vibrations. The enhancements have contributed to a reduction in noise by 60% in comparison to the imagePROGRAF iPF Series. www.canon.co.uk Collaboration that just works NEC Display Solutions Europe has launched the second generation of its NEC InfinityBoard display solution for meetings, presentation, conferencing and collaboration.
