Bringing a distinguished record from global SaaS software and digital technology firms, Barnett possesses a rich expertise that will guide Asolvi through its next chapter of expansion and success. Barnett is an experienced CEO and President with an extensive background from SaaS tech companies, most recently as CEO at the Edtech giant, EF English Live, where he managed a staff of 750 people spread across four continents. He has also spent five years working at McKinsey & Company mostly in the technology sector. “I am thrilled to join Asolvi at this exciting stage of their journey," he said. "The company has firmly established itself as a major player in the field service software industry, and I believe there is immense potential for further growth and innovation. I see my immediate priorities as an acceleration of both organic and inorganic growth, while working to identify synergies across the group to bring us close together as a unified service provider.” As part of his initial onboarding, Barnett aims to embark on a series of engagements with customers, associates, and teams across all locations and markets. “I'm keen to connect with the brilliant minds within the company and plan to spend my initial months ‘on the ground’ with colleagues in the UK, Norway, Germany, Spain and beyond. Okta strengthens commitment to European channel Okta, the leading independent identity provider, has welcomed James Bradley, as its new Regional Vice President of Partner and Alliances. Bradley brings more than 15 years of experience in the tech and partner space, working with companies such as Dynatrace, Covisint, and most recently, Cisco AppDynamics. He will lead all of Okta’s indirect business across EMEA in his new role. He will be responsible for building and expanding Okta’s partner community across the region, and working closely with technology partners, system integrators, and channel partners to realise the potential of identity. BOSS names new Chair Julie Hawley, Finance Director at YPO will be taking over from Simon Drakeford, CEO EO Group as Chairperson of the BOSS Board. Hawley joined YPO in May 2021 as Finance Director from her previous role as Managing Director of Office Friendly, a buying group in office products. She previously worked for Kingfield Heath Wholesale and has over 30 years’ experience in the business supplies industry. Drakeford said: “I feel honoured to have chaired the BOSS Federation for the last four years through such turbulent times and feel fortunate to have been able to work with our hugely impressive CEO Amy, and a brilliant bunch of hard working, pragmatic, engaging board members from across the industry. I’m thrilled to pass the chair to Julie, who from her extensive experience in our industry and legions of no-nonsense competencies, will ensure BOSS becomes even more relevant, inclusive, and supportive of our members and wider sector.” Paul Eccleston takes on EMEA role Exclusive Networks has named Paul Eccleston Senior Vice President EMEA as it continues to drive its growth strategy and momentum across the region. Eccleston is also appointed to Exclusive’s executive committee as part of its global leadership team responsible for driving strategic growth across the group. Having joined Exclusive last September as Managing Director of its flagship UK&I business, Eccleston assumed interim responsibility for EMEA at the beginning of the year. During the first half of 2023 he oversaw strong performance and sustained growth across the region with year-onyear sales up 19% and profitability up by 27%. As of the end of June EMEA accounted for 78% of Exclusive’s global sales. Eccleston will continue to head up the UK&I business as part of his new SVP EMEA role. Nutanix promotes Paulo Pereira Paulo Pereira has joined Nutanix’s worldwide leadership team as Vice President, EMEA Pre-sales. Pereira joined Nutanix in 2016, where he hit the ground running as a Systems Engineering (SE) Manager for the Middle East. With his dedication and strategic approach, he quickly moved into managing EMEA Emerging Markets, where he has been leading with distinction for the last five years. Before Nutanix, he spent 16 years at Cisco, working in diverse roles across Portugal, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. “I am truly honoured to lead Nutanix’s EMEA pre-sales team, at an exciting time when digital transformation is the need of the hour, cloud computing and AI are imperatives and no longer a luxury. I’m looking forward to progressing the great work that’s currently underway and excited to move Nutanix’s business to the next level across the region,” he said.
