Overall, the surveyed found that: n 86% of executives believe intelligent process integration improves the customer experience; n 68% say it leads to improved customer satisfaction; n 92% say it makes the employee experience more rewarding; and n 69% expect it to generate additional revenue. www.appian.com   Technology holding back workers Inadequate technology is the biggest obstacle to productivity improvements among office workers, trumping lesser frustrations like bureaucracy, inefficient processes and annoying colleagues, reveals a new survey from Cloudbooking. Just under two thirds (60%) of the 1,000 office workers surveyed by the integrated workspace management specialist complained that their employer’s IT provision was inadequate and not fit for purpose. This compares to 38% who said obstructive colleagues and inefficient processes were preventing them from doing their job properly; 28% who cited unnecessary bureaucracy; 18% who complained of time wasted in or travelling to meetings; and 14% who pointed the finger of blame at anxiety caused by lengthy commutes and transport delays. www.cloudbooking.com
