Pitney Bowes launch auto digital franking machine

The DM400C is the latest automatic digital franking machine from Pitney Bowes. Suitable for busy office environments, the DM400C allows envelopes to be sealed and franked at the same time, with five presets for the most commonly processed jobs.
To ensure that each letter has the right postage, the franking machine can be used with a 5kg integral weighing platform or interfaced weighing platforms with capacities of up to 35kg.
Optional differential weighing technology that calculates the correct postage for each mailpiece as it is removed from a pile enables batches of mixed mail to be processed quickly and efficiently. Postage spend for up to 25 departments or clients (upgradeable to 100 or 300 accounts) can be tracked, with reports printed or exported to a PC for further analysis.
