Brother showcases speedy labelling

Technology specialist Brother is helping businesses improve their efficiency with its time-saving QL-650TD label printer. The desktop label printer has an SRP of £199 plus VAT and will help customers in a wide range of sectors to speed up day to day administration tasks.
The labels can be printed in a variety of sizes to create photographic visitor passes, address and shipping labels, barcodes, Royal Mail smart stamps and signage. They can be used for labelling anything from laboratory sample bottles to files and CDs.
The QL-650TD is also fast - producing up to 56 labels per minute - and uses thermal printing technology, eliminating the need for ink cartridges and minimizing wasted time spent feeding through label sheets and replacing consumables.
It is proving particularly popular as it includes a time and date function and can print 300dpi photos, making it a simple and cost-effective way to improve security with photographic ID passes. The time and date function also makes it easy to clearly label products with expiry or best before dates.
