Rexel launches the world’s most intelligent shredders which will put an end to shredder jams once and for all.
Following extensive Qualitative and Quantitative Pan-European research the Mercury shredder range has been developed. It harnesses Continuous Flow technology to prevent jams and provide a business solution to eliminate wasted time and shredder mess.
Revolutionary new Mercury Technology from Rexel has created an innovative range of shredders that “think” for themselves and put a stop to jams forever, making jam dodgers (people who jam machines and then leave) an extinct species.
Equipped with unique technology, the brightly lit paper entry glows red to warn someone if they are trying to shred too much in one go. The red light indicates that the shredder won’t start, so that it can’t jam.
The green light signals ‘Go’ ahead and shred - there is no risk of jamming the shredder, meaning an end to fiddling around trying to clear the jam or wasting time picking up the mess left behind. Through research Rexel discovered the key criteria when buying a shredder is a large capacity feed, Low noise, Jam prevention and a large waste capacity.
Rexel took these results and created the Mercury shredder which combines these features with contemporary design, intuitive controls which are easy to use, a backlit control panel and free flow castors to move it round the office.
The new range of 7 product sku’s has been designed to meet all the requirements of the modern office. From the 30 litre Slim line model to fit next to the desk, through to the 50/70 litre Departmental models, each can shred paper, staples, paperclips, credit cards or CDs in either confetti cut or ribbon cut format.
