The Self Assured Consultancy operates in the often pressured business environment of financial services,offering independent financial advice to both private individuals and commercial clients. To cope with a wide variety and growing number of day-to-day office activities, it recently deployed the versatile HP Officejet Pro L7780 All-in-One - an inkjet based desktop printer that also offers copy, scan and fax capabilities.
A quest for quality
The Self Assured Consultancy’s client-facing documentation often contains detailed proposals that require illustrative charts, graphs and tables produced to a very high standard, in both full colour and monochrome. In addition, much of the client documentation has regulatory and legal content that must be reproduced faithfully and to time-sensitive deadlines. Although accustomed to using HP Inkjets, Self Assured Consultancy has been impressed by the marked improvements in this latest model. “We have been genuinely surprised by how economical the HP Officejet Pro L7780 is with its use of ink,” reveals Fyans. Combine this with a duplex facility, which drastically cuts paper usage, and the printer offers a significant reduction in total cost of ownership (TCO).
A big benefit of the new printer has been its ease of use, as Fyans explains: “I particularly like the HP Officejet Pro L7780 because we can fine-tune the colour and tone of the output to achieve exactly the results we want. The built-in screen and clear controls make navigation and use of the different functions simple and straight-forward.” So much so that the Consultancy has now expanded its use of the scanning function to include the capture and manipulation of its own internal documents.
