88 per cent of employees

their reasons for scanning as: A legal
requirement (43% per cent); 100 per cent
of survey respondents scan because they
want an electronic record; 57 per cent

transfer the data and 57 per cent because
it is more cost-effective than maintaining
a paper archive.
Almost two-thirds of respondents
within the legal sector said that the

every day; 72 per cent stated that the
time spent per day was between one and
four hours and 60% per cent of those
polled ,stated that they scanned upwards
of 100 pages per day.
Within the
Financial Services
sector 92 per cent of employees have a
scanning requirement.
