01732 759725 33 magazine Saas company monday.com’s 250,000+ paying customers are already using the fast-growing platform to manage more and more aspects of their workload, following the addition of software development (Dev), sales (CRM) and enterprise service (Service) capabilities to its original work management product. According to the company’s leadership, in the future the platform will not just help with task and project management but do much of the actual work as well. Speaking at the company’s Elevate 2025 end user conference held at Excel London on October 22-23, monday.com co-founder and co-CEO Eran Zinman said: “Over the last 20 years, software has evolved to help you do your work and to help you manage your work, but a big part of that work was still done outside of the tools you’ve been using. What you’re going to see in the next two days is not software that helps you manage work, it’s software that actually does the work for you in ways you couldn’t imagine before.” The catalyst, obviously, is AI, which Zinman describes as ‘a huge technological shift’, and which monday is deploying: a) to enhance automation with smart agents that do more of the work for customers; and b) to democratise software creation by enabling users to describe a specific business challenge or desired workflow to AI, which will then build a solution. Monday Agents & Monday Sidekick Addressing the former, Monday introduced two new solutions to the Elevate 2025 audience: monday Agents, which lets customers build an unlimited number of agents to do specific tasks within its platform; and monday Sidekick, a personal AI agent or digital assistant built into a user’s workspace that will complete tasks on their behalf. Daniel Lareya, Chief Product and Technology Officer at monday. com, pointed out that because the Sidekick AI agent, which will soon be available in all monday products, is built into each user’s workspace and is continually learning, it understands each person’s work, their workflows, their goals and can get to work right away (just click the star next to any item in monday.com). monday Magic & monday Vibe Supporting the second element of its strategic vision, monday is introducing two tools designed to simplify and accelerate software development by customers: monday Magic, which uses AI to design work solutions and processes for monday products based on a natural language description of what’s needed; and monday Vibe, which lets users create entire business applications to meet any need, from scratch, again using their own words. Because monday Vibe uses the monday platform, the apps are natively connected to the customer’s data, workflows and integrations ecosystem. monday Campaigns and AI SDR In addition to these distinct products, monday is deepening the AI capabilities within its four platform products: work management, Dev, Service and CRM. To give some idea of what this entails, new additions to CRM include: an AI SDR (sales development representative) that qualifies and follows up potential leads, including the booking of calls with a sales executive; and monday Campaigns, an AI-powered product linked into the CRM that lets marketing teams detect opportunities in real time, launch tailored campaigns and reach every lead with the right message. It scans CRM sales calls, competitor moves and market trends to generate campaign ideas, for which AI then creates content and designs. monday.com Agent Builder Finally, customers can create their own AI agents for monday products within minutes using a ready-made template or their own words. Due to be launched in the first half of this year, monday.com Agent Builder could, for example, be used to create an agent to set up an appointment for a customer, to collect feedback after the call and to write and send out a follow-up email. Users will be able to create an unlimited number of agents to meet any need. AI transformation Dror Spindel, monday.com’s VP of Global Partnerships, says these new products build on and reinforce Monday’s existing position at the heart of users’ workloads. “monday is well positioned to drive AI transformation in companies. Everybody talks about it and everyone understands the potential impact of AI but only a very small number of customers manage to achieve it and see a positive ROI,” he said. “We believe this is: a) because adopting new technology is challenging from a change management perspective; and b) because in order to have meaningful ROI and meaningful adoption, you need to meet the user in their flow of work, where they do their day-to‑day job. monday is well positioned to achieve this because that’s where we already are.” https://monday.com monday.com is taking software democratisation to the next level with the launch of new AI-powered application development and work management tools From management to execution SOFTWARE
