Where Am I Parked? uses geolocation to save time for sales, driver and prep teams involved in finding vehicles. With more than 500 vehicles parked on one three-acre site and a further 200 on two smaller van parks, it would previously have taken a team member 15- 20 minutes to locate each vehicle. Anchor Vans plans to use the data on its customer website, too, to help prospective buyers locate vehicles they are interested in. www.anchorvans.co.uk Stay organised FileCalendar combines a digital calendar and a file manager. The ability to attach files and contacts to events on your iOS device ensures you have the files you need for each appointment, e.g. a meeting agenda or presentation. The latest version includes a weekly viewing mode, making it easier to see and find the appointments and documents you need for the week ahead. www.filecalendar.com GDPR gamified Droman Solutions and the Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC) have produced an app to help organisations comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Constellate places users in a virtual office where they can achieve formal GDPR accreditation through fun and engaging training for a fraction of the time and cost of traditional classroom learning. The app provides realistic workplace scenarios and a glossary of GDPR terms to help businesses of all sizes achieve compliance. www.constellateapps.com On-the-go collaboration Lifesize, a provider of video collaboration solutions, has redesigned its app with new features for mobile participants. These include the ability to see presentations and video clearly on smaller phone screens using pinch to zoom; to keep distractions to a minimum with a simple swipe-to-listen- only mode; to send call invites and join calls via text; and to stay connected with chat and call notifications. www.lifesize.com Premium car rental Newly launched in London, Virtuo is an app-based car rental service that lets customers book, locate and unlock a premium car within minutes, without the paperwork, long queues and hidden fees associated with traditional rental car providers. Veripass also helps child-focused sites serve age-appropriate content to site users and make sure that children only interact with those in the same age- group. www.btplc.com Say goodbye to the visitor book The Sign In App visitor management solution, which replaces paper-based visitor books with sign-in via an iPad touch screen and the online storage of visitor data, has been enhanced with a Sign In App Companion.
