factory resetting option provides

The mobile police station
The Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 is being used in 10
Vauxhall Astra police cars on trial at Hertfordshire
Police. The fully rugged touchscreen tablet with
Windows 8 Pro and a digitizer pen for tasks such
as recording signatures can be docked in the glove
box or used on the move. The mobile police stations
also feature an 8.4-inch high resolution, multi-touch
touchscreen monitor and a 4G compatible broadband
router for high-speed internet access. If the trial is
successful, the technology will be incorporated into
50 Vauxhall Astras already in service.

Easy email management on the move
Enterprise app provider EuroSmartz has launched a completely new
version of AltaMail for iPhone and iPad. AltaMail combines multiple
email accounts in one app and includes numerous features for
managing email while away from the office. These include a rules
engine that lets you create rules for auto-replying, filing and marking
messages as read. Attachments can be converted to PDF and saved

Vodafone business customers can make the most of
3G and 4G data allowances with new offerings that
allow them to pool allowances and transfer capacity
from low volume to high volume data users. Vodafone
Red Sharer and Red Business 4G (for 1-4 users and
up to 8 devices) also offer unlimited calls and texts
with one contract, one bill and one payment. The new
offerings follow the launch of Vodafone’s Ultrafast
4G network, with speeds six times faster than 3G.
By 2015, Vodafone hopes to be providing indoor 4G
coverage for 98% of the UK population.
