Personal alarm
Android/iPhone personal alarm
service PanicGuard is donating
15% of every subscription to
Crimestoppers.When activated on a
smartphone, PanicGuard sends a help
signal to an Alarm Receiving Centre
(ARC), which immediately calls the
user to assess the situation. If there
is no answer after three calls or if
the evidence suggests a threat to
life, the ARC immediately contacts
police in the local area to respond
to the incident. During this process,
PanicGuard provides additional
information including the user’s
profile, current location and video/
audio uploaded from the phone.
PanicGuard can also send alerts to
emergency contacts pre-selected by
the subscriber.
