Question:
How much more energy efficient is the
EpsonWFP compared to a typical laser printer?
Answer:
Printers
Chinese
printer brand
launches in UK
A new laser printer brand is
launching in the UK and Ireland
following an exclusive distribution
agreement between Chinese laser
printer manufacturer Pantum, part
of Seine Technology Co. Ltd., and
office products distributor Spicers.
The first products to be launched
are the Pantum P2000 and P2050
mono laser printers, initially available
through Spicers resellers. Further
product launches are planned for
2013 and 2014, including MFPs and
colour models.
Targeted at small office/home
office users and SMBs, the 20 pages
per minute desktop printers have
been built to withstand heavy
business use and are designed to last
at least 100,000 pages. They have a
robust metal frame and maximum
monthly duty cycle of 20,000 pages
and come with a two-year warranty
as standard.
The personal printers have USB
2.0 connectivity and feature manual
duplex only. They come in a choice
of colours: white/grey (the P2000) or
black (the P2050).
One of the main selling points
of these printers is likely to be their
low running costs. The printers have
a recommended purchase price of
£59.99 (inc. VAT) and the option of
high yield cartridges with a toner
capacity of 2,300 pages (£54.99)
compared to 1,500 pages (£44.99) as
standard.
Pantum is the first Chinese OEM
to launch its own laser printer and
aims to become one of the world’s
top five printer manufacturers
within a few years through
consistent investment and long-term
commitment to the printing industry.
In less time than it takes to
print a page of paper, you
could have answered the
question and be in with a
chance to win.
