36 01732 759725 TSI has launched a new Partner Portal that brings together everything partners need to sell and support the wholesale provider’s unified communications, connectivity and network infrastructure services. TSI has more than 30 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry and entered the UCaaS market in 2023 with the launch of Cross Connect. Its new portal centralises every key partner function in one environment and includes an AI-powered in-portal assistant to troubleshoot queries and help partners quickly find the information they need. Partners can use the portal to generate co-branded marketing material; access training resources and the partner knowledge base; raise and track support tickets; view billing information, including invoices and detailed call data records; carry out number ordering and porting, broadband availability checks and end-to-end service ordering; and procure preconfigured hardware and connectivity, with real-time visibility of pricing and stock levels. Martin Coleman, Operations Director at TSI, said: “We wanted to break the mould, set a new benchmark for partner experience and lead the industry forward. And that’s exactly what we are proud to have done.” … The Global Technology Industry Association (GTIA) has published the names of its Executive Council for the UK & Ireland for the next three years and, separately, announced the hiring of Alicia Shepherd, former Director of Partner Engagement at Terra Computer UK, as its new regional community manager for UK&I. In this way, Nebula’s Impact Rewards Partner Program enables qualifying partners to demonstrate carbon reduction, social contribution and long-term sustainability leadership. On contract renewal, eligible customers are given a choice of three options: Carbon Credits via Nebula’s verified decarbonisation partner PNZ Carbon; Social Impact, using PNZ Carbon credits to upgrade social housing with insulation, heating system improvements and fabric-first measures; and Service Governance Credit, a services credit that can be redeemed through Nebula’s Remote Managed Services. Richard Eglon, Chief Marketing Officer at Nebula Global Services, said: “The Nebula Impact Rewards Partner Program reflects our belief that sustainability must be woven into the fabric of the technology services value chain, not treated as an afterthought. By integrating carbon credits, social impact and service governance-driven incentives into contract renewals, we’re empowering our customers to create real-world impact simply by doing what they already do.” He added: “We see this as a pivotal step forward for Nebula and the wider channel community. It empowers partners to drive real change and positions them at the forefront of responsible, future-ready business without the need for additional resource.” Separately, Nebula Global Services has been appointed by networking platform Meter to support its reseller ecosystem with expert deployment, global logistics and lifecycle support. A new deployment option for Cydome’s maritime cybersecurity platform, Cydome Embedded for Remote Energy Facilities implements cyber protection directly on existing communication devices. Because no physical access to a site is required, this option is ideal for hard-tomaintain and space-constrained facilities such as offshore wind farms. Cydome Embedded provides AI-driven cyber threat detection, network security, automated vulnerability scanning and centralised (multi-site) risk management and compliance monitoring across both IT and OT environments as an embedded virtual container running directly on and optimised for existing VSAT routers and other network edge devices. The software is fully installed and maintained remotely, eliminating the need for physical access. With evolving regulations and rising cyber threats, offshore and renewable energy operators face mounting pressure to protect assets and facilities that are physically difficult to access. Yet, according to Cyber Energia, only 1% of 11,000 wind assets globally have adequate cyber protection. This is because until now the cost of protecting offshore wind farms with dozens of dispersed turbines has been prohibitive as existing solutions require physical access for installation and network connection. Sending a technician on-site can cost up to $200,000, including vessel rental, while a single day of downtime for a 10MW turbine can cost as much as $30,000 in lost revenue. Nir Ayalon, Founder & CEO of Cydome, said: “We have achieved a technological breakthrough that delivers full protection on existing hardware with minimal computing power, enabling operators to secure remote assets, including maritime-specific assets, without the need for physical access.” Nir Ayalon Credit: pexels.com/Damir K
