22 01732 759725 INTERVIEW TR: What have been some of your other highlights of the last 12 months? James Lockhart: Obviously, we shared the same economic headwinds as the whole industry and the whole country in 2025, but it was still a pretty impressive year for us. We maintained a growth trajectory, both in terms of our revenue and our profit, and that allowed us to invest in our teams. I work with a really talented development team that has doubled in size in the last 12 months, and we managed to do that while migrating almost 100,000 users from a third-party platform to our own IP. So, 2025 was fantastic for us, and that’s testament to the growth that our partner community saw, because obviously we’re tethered to their success. TR: And what are your plans for 2026? Simon Blackwell: It’s going to be a very different year for us. As James mentioned, we’ve migrated the best part of 100,000 people to our stack. That is business we already had, so our focus in the last 12 months has mainly been on bringing everything into our tech stack as opposed to winning new business. Even so, we’ve put nearly 50,000 net new users onto the platform. In the coming year we’ll be focusing on two key things. One is partner growth, bringing in new partners, and a number of new business sales people have come into the business to help us drive that. Their ability to do that is in part down to James’s team and the product roadmap they have and making sure we deliver on our commitments around new features that enable our partners to differentiate and new features that they can monetise to build their recurring revenue. www.nebulacloud.com Itas Solutions, based in Mold, North Wales, has become the first organisation in the UK to win the Sage Intacct Customer Success Partner of the Year award two years in a row, extending an impressive nine-year streak in which Itas Solutions has either reached the finals or won at the Sage UK Awards. The accolade coincides with the company’s 30th anniversary and underlines a period of growth and transformation under the leadership of Managing Director Hannah Munro. “We’re so proud to be the first partner to win this award two years in a row,” said Munro. “It means a huge amount to us because it’s recognition for the team and the work they put in every day. For me, this is the most important award Sage offers because it’s not about sales figures, it’s about how well you look after customers and the impact you have on their businesses.” For Munro, the award is particularly pleasing because Itas Solutions was the first ever UK partner of Sage Intacct, Sage’s cloud-based accounting and financial management software designed for growing and mid-sized businesses. “I genuinely believe Sage Intacct is best in class, so to receive this recognition from a multinational business with truly British roots makes it even more special,” she said. Adam Barnes, Head of Partner Success at Sage, added: “Itas sets the standard for what customer success should be, with an outstanding retention rate, almost perfect for Sage Intacct. Its award-winning support model is second to none, delivering a gold standard experience our customers seek. Itas has become such a trusted voice of advocacy in the Sage community, it’s no surprise they have received this title once again.” Improving processes Founded by Hannah’s father, former Royal Marine Ron Lincoln, Itas Solutions began life as a sole trader business run from a garden shed at the Lincoln’s family home near Ruthin. Over the last decade, following Munro’s return from New Zealand after the Christchurch earthquake in 2011, Itas has reached new levels of scale and ambition, growing into a prominent ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation partner with up to 50 staff and customers across the UK, Europe, the US and Australia. Itas Solutions is one of the UK’s largest Sage Construction partners but also works with organisations in the facilities management, healthcare, third sector, food and professional services. “We’re an ERP implementer. We don’t do people’s accounts,” explained Munro. “Our role is about improving processes, reporting and decision-making, and helping organisations run better as a result.” Local employer Itas is a major local employer, providing a flexible, hybrid working environment that offers flexibility and support. It is actively recruiting new employees, with a growing focus on AI and building out specialist capability in that area. “We haven’t always been able to hire people with the exact technical skills we need, so we’ve built those skills ourselves. We look for people with great customer service instincts, strong people skills and a real interest in what we do. Everything else we can develop here,” said Munro. “I’m also passionate about encouraging more women into tech and showing there’s a place for people from lots of different backgrounds in this sector.” As Itas Solutions celebrates 30 years in business, its focus is firmly on maintaining standards while continuing to evolve. “Right now, we’re focused on keeping that crown for a third year,” said Munro. “That means continuing to deliver outstanding service, embracing AI in a safe and practical way and always putting our customers first.” https://itassolutions.co.uk Many happy returns Itas Solutions continues winning streak at Sage UK Awards in its 30th year Hannah Munro with (left to right) Paul Newton Customer Success Operations Manager, Head of Sales Andy Delooze, and Sage Sales Director, Gary Charlton ...continued To watch the full interview, please scan the QR code This is an edited version of a conversation between Technology Reseller Editor James Goulding, Simon Blackwell, Chief Marketing Officer, and James Lockhart, Head of Product at Nebula.
