24 01732 759725 TR: In what areas are you experiencing strongest demand? AD: Without a doubt, security is the biggest area of demand right now – and rightly so. High-profile breaches, like those at M&S and Co-op, have brought cyber threats front of mind for many businesses. These stories make risks tangible and trigger action as organisations ask themselves: if it can happen to these multi-million-pound establishments, then why not me? Plus, insurance companies are increasingly dictating strict security measures as a requirement for adequate cover. AI is fuelling this further. While it’s an incredible tool for innovation, it also empowers those with less-than-honourable intentions. The barrier to entry for cybercrime is lowering and businesses need to mitigate this with layered and proactive security strategies. We’re increasingly supporting many clients through essential hardware upgrades, particularly with Windows 10 approaching end-of-life. Interestingly, we’re also seeing a surge in prospects getting in touch when an acquisition disrupts an established IT relationship. People come to us looking for stability, a trusted partner and that personable service they’ve lost. These qualities have been embedded in our business throughout our 25-year history and remain at the heart of everything we do. TR: What recent wins are you most proud of? AD: We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised in two prestigious industry awards over the past 12 months, being crowned Acronis Reseller of the Year and then Best UK Performance 2024 at the WithSecure Star Awards. It was also a huge honour to be shortlisted in the Global Competence Leaders category at WithSecure’s Sphere 2025, putting us in the top three in the world. That level of recognition validates the hard work and technical excellence our team brings to every project. We’ve spent decades building a culture where learning and evolving with the industry is second nature, and to see that effort acknowledged was a huge moment for us. relationships and staff development, including a donation of £250 to each employee’s chosen charity and a summer party for staff, clients, vendors and local businesses. Here, Amy Davies, who joined the company 19 years ago as an Accounts Administrator, rising up to become Managing Director in 2024, gives her view from the channel. Technology Reseller (TR): How’s business? Better or worse than 12 months ago? And how confident are you about the future? Amy Davies (AD): The last 12 months have offered significant business growth for us, in terms of higher-quality prospects and a noticeable increase in client engagement. This, in turn, has allowed us to expand our team and provide more opportunities for budding tech professionals. Onboarding and training new staff naturally presents some short-term challenges – nor are we immune to the recruitment challenges and skills shortages reported by others in the industry. However, I remain confident about the future – and excited! There’s a clear appetite for digital transformation, especially around security, efficiency and resilience. Businesses are hungry for smarter, strategic and more secure systems, and we’re excited to be able to help them navigate that transition. This is our 25th year in business, which we’ll be celebrating with several team and client events, as well as a charitable initiative. This is a significant milestone that, for us, also marks the start of the next chapter in our ongoing commitment to internal growth and the delivery of exceptional IT support to our clients across the UK.
