22 01732 759725 The second of this year’s golf society meetings took place on June 5 at Hearsall Golf Club in Coventry. We have played this course before and always have a great day. As is now the tradition, a few of us met up the night before for a couple of beers, a curry and loads of laughs. The next morning it was pouring with rain, but that didn’t dampen the mood of the players – and at least it was still warm. Despite the weather, the course was in excellent condition and the greens were quick, even when wet. So, a big shout-out to all the staff who look after the course. The winners on the day were: Nearest the Pin: Unclaimed. For the first time in more than 20 years, no one hit the green! Nearest the Pimms: Graeme Sutton, Managing Director of Sol Distribution. Longest Drive: Daniel Murphy, New Business Partner Sales Director at Ricoh. Nearest the Pin in Two: Daniel Hencher, UK Sales Manager at Enconvo. Team Prize: Team 2, comprising Daniel Murphy, Justin Blaine – Sales Director at NUSO and Brandon Malone – Account Manager at PEAC Finance, with an impressive 87 points. Overall Winner on the Day: Jonathan Sheridan, Managing Director at Converged Comms with 38 points. Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you first to our sponsors for their support, without which we would not be able to offer free food and drink at the halfway house and free drinks at the 19th hole, and second to everyone else who has joined us and supported the PrintIT Reseller and Technology Reseller Golf Society.
