TR: What recent wins are you most proud of? KH: One recent standout is becoming a Keyloop certified partner for voice communications and business collaboration tools and the ‘driving force’ behind the delivery of integrated Voice as a Service (VaaS) and Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) technologies to the automotive technology provider’s international customer base. Our strategic partnership with Keyloop, following our acquisition of its Voice Connect services proposition, reflects the trust we’ve built in the automotive space and reinforces the importance of value‑added integrated solutions and AI-driven CX to everyone involved in vehicle sales, from manufacturers and retailers to finance providers and fleet suppliers. For us, Approved Keyloop Partner status is not just a badge; it’s an opportunity to deliver a higher standard of service to a wider network of clients who rely on Keyloop for their day-to-day solutions. The partnership represents a significant step forward in our ongoing development and has strong growth potential for both parties. TR: Where is business proving most difficult? KH: There’s definitely pressure in areas of the market that have been driven down to a purely price-first mindset. The telecoms sector has been heavily commoditised in the last few years, which means we have to work harder to help customers understand the value of an integrated solution and carrier-grade hosted telephony. For us, it’s about being different and offering a value‑led, integrated approach. TR: How have you changed/are you changing business operations to exploit new opportunities? KH: Our team structure now reflects the industries we serve, so we can be more proactive and informed in the way we guide our customers. We’re also building stronger partnerships, not just with vendors, but also with trusted resellers and sector‑specific throughout the business, but what impact has it had on Green IP’s customers and the wider market? Here, General Manager Kane Hardy gives his view from the channel. Technology Reseller (TR): How’s business? Better or worse than 12 months ago? And how confident are you about the future? Kane Hardy (KH): Business is currently buoyant, not just in the UK but internationally. Based on an innovative green ecosystem business model, our vision extends far beyond mere business operations. We are on a mission to be a net carbon business and a pioneer in sustainable cloud communications. High‑impact solutions not only help businesses become more eco-friendly; they enhance collaboration and productivity, enabling a ‘Work Anywhere’ approach. We are operating in a saturated market where it’s vital to differentiate and stand out from the crowd. We are very confident of continued success and look to the future with optimism and enthusiasm based upon a clear strategic plan and a unique USP – a green company from the bottom up. TR: In what areas are you experiencing strongest demand? KH: Continued estate expansion amongst our high-end hospitality customer base is driving strong growth, as are technology updates and migration from existing solutions in the automotive sector, where we are seeing significant demand from dealerships looking to rationalise legacy systems and bring voice, broadband and mobile under one roof with a level of flexibility and support that simply isn’t offered by traditional providers. We are also finding that, despite the current global economic pressures, customers are very keen to embrace our green vision. We know that around 70% of future procurement is looking to work with sustainable businesses and Green IP is the natural place for them to come. Today, businesses can choose to be sustainable but very soon we are not going to have that choice. It will become mandatory. As long as Green IP remains ahead of the curve, we can help our customers to do the same and gain a In April, Green IP, the carbon-neutral hosted telephony and unified communications provider, advanced its growth strategy with the acquisition of the Voice Connect services proposition of Keyloop, a global technology provider for vehicle manufacturers, retailers, financiers and fleet suppliers. This deal adds 11 members of staff with automotive industry experience to Green IP’s headcount, expanding its vertical sector expertise, which already encompasses the hospitality, pharmaceutical and construction industries, and gives it the ability, as an Approved Keyloop Partner, to sell integrated voice and unified communication services to local and international customers of Keyloop’s Fusion automotive retail platform, building on its existing presence in continental Europe and the Americas. Created three years ago through the rebranding and relaunching of TXI Communications, Poole-based Green IP has made sustainability a key differentiator, winning the Sustainability Partner of the Year award from collaboration services partner Evolve IP. In addition to investment in electric vehicles, 100% renewable energy at its Poole HQ and carbon offsets, Green IP provides solutions that enable customers to reduce their own environmental impact, for example by empowering staff to work from any location, while reducing costs and enhancing collaboration.
