Certification followed a rigorous assessment across five areas – governance, workers, customers, community and environment – for which Redsquid scored 93.6 points, far above the 80 points required to achieve certification. Redsquid CEO Sohin Raithatha said: “We are thrilled to join the B Corporation movement and to be part of a global network of businesses that are using their power as a force for good. We believe that being a B Corporation will help us attract and retain the best talent, enhance our reputation and trust with our customers and partners, and drive innovation and growth in our industry.” He added: “We are proud of what we have achieved so far, but we know that there is always room for improvement. We are excited to embark on this journey of continuous learning and improvement and to collaborate with other B Corporations and stakeholders to create a more inclusive and sustainable economy.” www.redsquid.co.uk Security baselining by Prism Infosec Prism Infosec, an independent cybersecurity consultancy, is helping organisations improve their cybersecurity posture with the launch of a Cyber Maturity Assessment service. Mapped to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework, the assessment covers all five core areas (identify, protect, detect, respond and recover), grading them with five levels of maturity (initial, developing, defined, managed or optimised). The end report provides a comprehensive view on the risks facing the business, together with a roadmap of recommendations and estimated timescale to achieving cyber maturity. www.prisminfosec.com Castle Donington-based IT services provider True MSP is offering small and medium-sized businesses the ‘Triple Cloud’ package of Microsoft systems – Microsoft 365, Azure and Dynamics Business Central – through a partnership with cloud solutions marketplace Pax8. In 2023 Pax8 acquired Derby IT firm Bam Boom Cloud, which had developed an affordable way for small and medium-sized businesses to adopt Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, an all-in-one cloudbased application for running a business’s entire operations, from accounting and stock control to sales, logistics and customer service. Neil Shaw, who co-founded True MSP with Tim Rookes six years ago, describes its ability to offer the Microsoft Triple Cloud as a game-changer with massive growth potential. “Business Central is a huge, projectbased beast. Companies that use it will typically pay £100,000-plus for an implementation project. But now, thanks to the development and streamlining achieved initially by Bam Boom, any business can buy into the package for just a few thousand pounds.” Depending on the number of people in a firm and the type of operation, the ongoing cost of Dynamics Business Central through True MSP could be as low as a few hundred pounds per month, including support. Shaw added: “Significantly, working alongside Pax8, we can make Business Central operational for any type of business within about seven days, rather than the 12-month installation and training programme that is typical.” www.truemsp.co.uk Derbyshire IT firm signs ‘stratospheric’ deal Ian Taylor (far left) and team Mark Tildesley True MSP founders Neil Shaw (l) and Tim Rookes (r), with, Senior Account Manager Matt Resch.
