RESELLER NEWS BDR Group opens new Colchester office following latest acquisition BDR Group is opening new offices in Colchester following a string of acquisitions that have turned the Essex town into a major business hub for the Stratford upon Avon-headquartered ICT, cloud and telecoms provider. Last year, three of the four acquisitions completed by BDR Group were based in the area, including 3C, Loop and, most recently, IT and telecoms company YTS. Founded in 1991, BDR Group employs 200 staff across its Stratford Upon Avon head office and four business hubs in Aylesford (Kent), Leicester, Hemel Hempstead and now Colchester. Following the acquisitions of Highlander Computing solutions and projectfive, in January and April respectively, the addition of CNC advances FluidOne’s strategy to create a branch network of regional IT MSPs and grows its Business IT Centre of Excellence (CoE), led from Highlander’s Sheffield headquarters, into a £37m revenue business, with 1,100 customers, 164 employees and five branch offices.
