Gil Miner has more than 20 years’ experience as a marketing executive, most recently at Tableau Software where she was Senior Vice President of Brand, Communications and Events. During her six years at Tableau, Gil Miner helped establish the company as a category leader in data analytics, with revenue growth from $250 million to more than $1 billion. Prior to joining Tableau, Gil Miner was CMO for Artefact, where she led the go-to-market strategy and public launch of Artefact’s first spin-off startup, 10,000ft. Jason Phillips joins Aerial Direct After spending more than 20 years at O2 (Telefonica UK), Jason Phillips is joining telecommunications provider Aerial Direct as COO. David Ainslie, the current COO and co-founder of the business, will move into a Non-Executive Director role. New IRMS chair to promote diversity The Information and Records Management Society (IRMS) has appointed Reynold Leming as its new Chair. A member of the Society’s executive team since 2012, Leming has previously served as Special Projects Officer, Conference Director and most recently Vice Chair of the IRMS. In his new role, he aims to promote diversity and encourage new talent to choose a career in the sector in which he has worked for more than 30 years. One of his first actions will be to commission a survey of diversity within the information and records management profession to highlight barriers to entry and career progression. A Panasonic executive with more than 30 years’ experience, Nishiuma was previously Senior Managing Executive Officer and member of the board at Panasonic Systems Solutions in Japan, where he achieved income and profit increases in seven consecutive fiscal years. With operations in the UK and India, MDA was founded by CEO John Whelan in response to the UK Government’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiative and now processes more than one million transactions per month. Whelan said: “The appointment of a high- profile chairman with a SaaS background is a watershed moment in MDA’s five-year history.
