Launched in 2013 as a cloud-based service priced on a per-user basis, JobWatch is now used by 1,300 organisations to automate manual processes and enhance collaboration by connecting back office staff, mobile workers and customers. www.bigchange.com NEWS : VENDORS Paul Lomax Collaboration specialist Wrike is helping managers and team leaders adjust to the new world of virtual teams, with the launch of a new Remote Work Template that clearly shows projects, tasks and deadlines in an organised workspace. The out-of-the-box, pre-built configuration enables managers to: n Manage remote teamwork with a Gantt chart or table view showing all active projects, as well as project timelines and key dependencies that should be prioritised; n Visualise work with personal dashboards , providing a board view of active tasks so that managers can focus on the right work and stay on top of assignments and outstanding approvals; and n Automate recurring meetings to ensure employees feel supported, show up prepared, and stay actionable. A centralised action items folder allows managers to turn meeting outcomes into tasks that can be assigned to relevant team members. The launch of the Remote Work Template follows the introduction of the Wrike for Marketers Performance solution, a centralised platform that enables marketing teams to keep campaigns on track and within budget. The new addition to Wrike for Marketers provides pre-built Agile reports needed for sprint analysis and delivers dashboards with rich data analytics that help marketers make smart, data-driven decisions on where to spend their time. Integration with Salesforce enables campaign data to be pulled directly into Wrike. www.wrike.com Wrike launches collaboration workspace for remote teams Protection for home workers With many employees continuing to work from home, bluedog has launched a Microsoft Office 365 monitoring service to reduce the security risks of homeworking. Costing from £1 per user per month, bluedog Security Monitoring can detect abnormal activity, such as suspicious account logins/data downloads and phishing emails, and automatically alert the team at bluedog’s security operations centre. Paul Lomax, bluedog Co-founder, said: “Having a human on hand to check and interpret data can make all the difference in circumstances like this. Our Office 365 monitoring service is the only one of its type that is backed by an expert team that has full sight of all alerts and can make an informed decision.” He added: “The use of employees’ own devices has long been a problem for businesses. However, with home working likely to become the norm in the foreseeable future, they now need to rethink their IT security. Microsoft Office 365 monitoring offers a low-cost and convenient solution for the post-Covid world.” www.bluedog-security.com Fuze GSuite add-ons Cloud communications provider Fuze has rounded out its suite of Google product integrations with a Fuze GSuite add-on for Gmail, offering one-click calling from a Gmail thread and a calendar integration, directly in Chrome with no need for plug-ins or downloads.
