UiPath expands RPA training options Robert Steiner Sharp NEC joint venture Sharp Corporation has acquired 66% of the shares in NEC subsidiary NEC Display Solutions, Ltd (NDS), with NEC retaining 34% of the shares. The deal includes the NDS subsidiaries NEC Display Solutions of America, NEC Display Solutions Europe, NEC Viewtechnology Trading (Shenzhen), Ltd and S[quadrat] GmbH. NDS will be run as a Sharp subsidiary in a joint venture with NEC and will continue to provide NEC branded-products. New features include UK & European pricing; professional services pricing; Cisco-backed services; the ability for partners to produce branded quotes in both PDF & Excel formats and to apply a percentage uplift when quoting end user customers directly; and a simple process for managing contract renewals. www.agilitas.co.uk Egress Protect integrated into NHSmail NHS Digital has integrated Egress Protect email security into NHSmail, the UK’s largest closed secure email network used by up to 1.5 million healthcare staff daily. Egress Protect will enable healthcare practitioners to use NHSmail to send encrypted emails to non-secure addresses, including those of patients and others in the health and care system. It also offers automatic decryption for inbound email, which enables recipients of NHSmail emails encrypted using Egress Protect to read and reply to messages free of charge via an easy-to-use online portal or Egress’s free Outlook integration app. Egress Protect’s integration with NHSmail will streamline communications between the NHS and local government organisations and private healthcare providers that already use the solution.
