Satisnet will offer Crossword’s Rizikon Assurance third party risk management platform to help clients automate supplier onboarding and gain visibility of exposure to risks posed by third parties, with the option to outsource assurance processes to Satisnet through a Third Party Assurance as a Service offering. John McCann, CEO of Satisnet, said: “The Rizikon Assurance platform is a welcome addition to our offering. A lot of our clients are keen to mature and enhance their approach to third party risk management and Rizikon will allow them to do this by driving automation at scale into the process.” In a recent Ponemon Institute study, 61% of US companies surveyed said they had experienced a breach due to a vendor/ third party. John McCann Fourth acquisition by IT Lab IT Lab, the technology service and solutions provider behind McLaren F1 sports cars, has completed the acquisition of Azure specialist Sol-Tec, bringing its revenues to £85 million. This is the fourth acquisition by IT Lab since private equity firm ECI Partners acquired a majority stake in the company in 2016. It follows those of SMB specialist Mirus in 2019, Microsoft Office365 and SharePoint partner Content and Code in September 2018 and cyber security specialist Perceptive Risk in May 2017. Sol-Tec, one of Microsoft’s largest UK Azure partners and an ‘Azure Influencer Partner of the Year’ finalist, counts public sector giants including the Department of Work and Pensions, HMRC and the Department for Education among its customers, as well as leading private sector companies including a top three UK supermarket chain and a top five online financial services business.
