Technology Reseller - v15 2018
01732 759725 NEWS : VENDORS 06 Nuclias gives MSPs complete control IPCortex on channel recruitment drive IPCortex, the British communications software developer, is embarking on a channel recruitment drive, backed up by a new four-tier Partner Programme designed to make it easier and more profitable for partners to sell IPCortex. It has also introduced a new pricing model for existing resellers and a new entry-level hosted product. Rob Pickering, CEO at IPCortex, said: “IPCortex has become known in the channel for offering a solid, feature- rich communications platforms, and for delivering them in a way that is easy to configure, sell, support and that makes good margin for partners, whether hailing from a traditional voice or data background.” With its new hosted offering, IPCortex Hosted Essentials, IPCortex is addressing the needs of customers who are new to hosted telephony but not yet ready to commit to more ambitious feature sets. Based on exactly the same interface as IPCortex Hosted Suite, but in a handset- based voice-only configuration, Hosted Essentials can be delivered at a significantly lower price point per seat, with the option of one-click migration to the full IPCortex unified communications functionality. This removes the need for resellers to configure, price and install a new hosted platform and makes it easy for partners to quote and upsell value-added hosted services when the timing is right. Rob Pickering added: “We have listened to our resellers who have told us that the hosted market is not yet as developed as traditional CPE installs. Despite the traction that hosted services have achieved, many customers are still at the start of that journey and there is a significant proportion of simple voice-only projects in this segment.” www.ipcortex.co.uk/ Swyx award winners Smart Solutions GRP Ltd, CloudyIT and Agenda IT Ltd all won ‘TOP Partner UK’ awards at the Swyx Partner and Technology Conference 2018. Running on the IT network, this secures the Active Directory against poor password behaviour. Every time a new password is created, it intercepts and analyses it to ensure it is compliant with the latest NIST SP 800-63B guidance. In less than a second, the password is also cross-referenced against the Authlogics Cloud Password Breach Database, which contains more than half a billion passwords that are known to have been breached. A password will not be permitted for use if it’s found to have been breached. Authlogics is currently welcoming new resellers at all levels of its Partner Programme. authlogics.com/partners/ Networking manufacturer D-Link is launching a cloud-based network management solution that enables managed services providers and business owners to configure and monitor their network infrastructures from anywhere, at any time.
