With a focus on operational efficiency, the 1500 m2 factory has been created from the shell of an existing building and fitted with the most up-to-date ink manufacturing equipment and levels of automation optimised to consistently deliver high quality water-based, polymer CMYK inks and to minimise waste. At the same time, the plant has created new jobs, with its 30 employees being a mix of redeployed staff and new hires. www.canon.co.uk Premier initiative supports schools Following the recent launch of the Explorer range of copier papers, Premier is running a campaign called Young Explorers throughout February, March and April 2022. Companies that order a specific quantity of Explorer paper from Premier throughout the month will be given the opportunity to nominate a local primary school of their choice to receive a set of ten pairs of wellies and ten sets of waterproofs, as part of The Outdoor Guide’s Waterproofs & Wellies Project; the aim of which is to help make outdoor learning available, fun and inclusive for all children, irrespective of their background.
