01732 759725 24 PRINTIT AWARDS With social distancing measures still in place and unlikely to be lifted anytime soon, we’ve re-designed our inaugural awards ceremony. Whilst we can’t get together in person on February 11, we can still connect and celebrate in style. We’ll be streaming the PrintIT awards ceremony for you to enjoy with family, friends and colleagues, from your offices or your homes, and we’ve planned an after show networking party in the Spring PrintIT 2020 Reboot Awards Everyone who has pre-booked a table, half table, or individual seats will receive a luxury hamper. Goodies will include: fizz, wine and beer, plus a selection of snacks, chocolates and other treats along with a special PrintIT Awards programme for you to enjoy whilst watching the ceremony online. We can send the hampers directly to your office if you’re going to celebrate as a team, to your home, or directly to resellers, customers or colleagues, you have invited to join you. After party And finally, it wouldn’t be a true channel do if there wasn’t an after party. We have provisionally scheduled Thursday May 6 for a special networking event, so we can get together in person at a soon to be revealed location in London for an after show party to end all after parties. We’re planning lots of music, dancing, photo booths and there will also be an official photographer present for award winners and associates. Oh and did I mention the free drinks… Industry support The PrintIT Awards would not be possible without the support of organisations in this industry and we are particularly grateful to our brilliant line-up of sponsors. n Platinum Sponsor – Ingram Micro n Gold Sponsors – Develop/DSales, HP, Lexmark, VOWWholesale and Westcoast n Category Sponsors – Apogee, Brother, ECI, Epson, ISL Group, Kofax, Kyocera, Pelikan, Sharp, Sindoh, PCL Direct and Toshiba n Official Recruitment Partner – The Field Solutions Group n Pre-dinner drinks Sponsor – HP And finally, a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to submit an entry in these most difficult circumstances. The quality of entries this year was extremely high – something that made our judges' jobs just a little bit more difficult and prompted much discussion on judging day! www.printitawards.co.uk The PrintIT Awards 2020 were created to celebrate the achievements of our vital, ever-changing technology sector through a comprehensive programme of awards covering all aspects of the industry. When we launched with much aplomb at the beginning of this year, it was inconceivable that we would be moving the goalposts on our well thought-out plans. It’s fair to say that the past seven or eight months has seen many of us working through the most challenging and unpredictable period in all of our lives and I for one was very much looking forward to getting ‘out out’ again, re- connecting with people in real life, and celebrating the many successes in our channel, at the Tower Hotel. But, as that will have to be put on hold for a little while longer, the team at Kingswood Towers has come up with a fantastic alternative plan, creating what we’ve dubbed the PrintIT 2020 Reboot Awards – so we can still get together, connect and socialise – albeit in a different two-part way. The big reveal We will be broadcasting a full programme that will incorporate all the elements of the live awards ceremony including the big reveal of the award winners by comedian Tom Allen, vox pops from the team, messages from our award and category sponsors, and we’re also keeping a few surprises up our sleeves – buzzword bingo anyone? Over the coming weeks, we will be out and about (in a COVID-secure way), filming in a series of not so secret locations, getting some great footage from our sponsors and the shortlisted candidates. Luxury hamper Part of the enjoyment of awards dos is partaking in good food and a beverage or two – and we’ve got that covered too. There is also one award category which has not been shortlisted – that is because we had such a standout entry from one particular company that they were unanimously announced the immediate winner, this will also be announced on the night.
